What is VOIP

   VOIP is the abbreviation that stands for Voice Over Internet Protocol. This is a newly developed method for converting the voice in a digitized form and transmitting these digital signals across the Internet to the person that is on the other side of the screen!

You will be paying nothing extra apart from the charges of your Internet connection. VOIP technology has a great potential for cutting call costs with just some software that VOIP companies provide. And this technology has gained a momentum in its popularity due to ease of use and direct benefits!

   If we talk about making free calls from PC to PC, then we are actually talking about the technique of VOIP. But this facility has some drawbacks, as the other person needs to be online at the time of your call, and must use same software that you are using in your computer. The voice quality also depends greatly on the type of connection that you and the other person are using. But apart from all technologies, this facility has the upper hand, as if the requirements are fulfilled nothing can match the price and convenience that is there with making free calls from PC to PC!
